Maria Casad is a life-long resident of DeWitt, Iowa. She has a love of art and nature.
Maria has had various classes in the arts, and has studied gilding in Ireland.
Her mural career started with a group of artistic friends and students, painting on the outside back wall of the paint store that Maria owned and operated.
She has since painted murals in S. Carolina, N.Carolina, Illinois and Iowa. Joining in Muralfests in Califormia, Minnisota, Illinois and Iowa.
Joining Maria in the Design Studio is Bob Rands. Bob is the glass artist and assists in all aspects of the studio.
Bob has attended classes and seminars to learn to art of sand blasting glass.
Glue chipping glass is a late 1800's skill that Bob acquired through research and experimentation.

CLASSES OFFERED
Maria is teaching a drawing class which offers the beginner and the experienced artist new skills and methods and observation.
Class is held on Thursday at the Studio 6:30-8:30. Cost is 15.00 each session, plus materials.
